I am a firm believer that every blog needs a mascot, and what better mascot than Lobster Dog?

Look at that fine canine specimen! Its a Welsh Corgi if you didn’t know; in a lobster costume. He looks really, really serious at the task of being a lobster dog, but not as serious as Mustache and Monocle Dog.
Cor blimey, that was a smashing maneuver! Good show, chaps!
Now I’d like to get serious now that I have posted two pictures of really cute dogs. What will this blog entail? I will write about school, and not just the crappiness that occurs during the school year but of what I am learning at the moment. At any given time you may see me post a reaction to a lecture, or a concept that I read in a reading assignment or just the school experience in general.
I’m a Political Science major who is interested in going to law school, that being the case I will touch on here from time to time on the latest news that comes out of Washington, DC or from Tallahassee since I currently reside in the land of sunshine, oranges and alligators. I’m not going to try and hide my political leanings (they are center-left) since I don’t believe in full blown censorship but in what I call “tasteful articulation and deliberation”, in other words I am not going to resort to bashing, name-calling, slandering, etc. You can get that from other blogs from both the right and left and I do not need to add to their muddying of the conversation.
This blog will be my outlet and playground for all the thoughts that I have buzzing around my mind. Those who know me can tell you that I always have an opinion and its time I get to writing it down. I promise I won’t get too personal or preachy, but just be myself. I can’t promise that the updates will be frequent, but there will be at least two posts a week.
So, let’s get started.
